Thermal Store
Underfloor Heating
Over recent years we have had lots of enquires for under floor heating. As you can
see from our pictures new technology allows us to fit zone valves to different rooms
in the house. Therefore if you are not going to be using a room you can switch off
the under floor heating when not using that particular room. This gives you the
luxury of being able to control heat to rooms when you require.
We fit three different types of under floor heating: Ployplum, Uponor and Lithotherm.
Lithotherm
No cement, no screed, no aluminum plates, just air-dried clay tiles, highly
engineered, with grooves that the pipes clip into. The inherent thermal properties of
the clay allow the tiles to respond quickly, but still hold heat for a long time.
Heat sources
The under floor heating can be connected through a multi-fuel thermal store or
direct onto a air source heat pump or onto your central heating circuit depending on
the sizes and the equipment required subject to survey. We also undertake
commercial work in this field.
